  3. Hello Ray,
I just heard the STORY on PRI. You were the Story! And Janet Hubbard is your Angel! I got up and googled your name and lo and behold there was your name announcing the opening of your new studio and all your fabulous paintings! I was raised in Ohio but live in Texas now. I paint but with thread. I do cross stitch and embroidery and sell on Etsy.com at http://www.katscozykrafts.etsy.com. I also get a booth at craft shows. Your story reminded me of the feeling my things weren't that good. But a lady at our craft store where I buy all my supplies said I liked to sew so much I should get on Etsy and sell my things since she knew my kids were long over my gifts of hand made items. So I did.

I want to tell you I have marked your site and will be sending you a request for a picture soon. There are so many I love. And another and another. Your style is pleasant to look at and conveys a beautiful message. Your home and the mailbox and the truck are nostalgic to me. But you have such a variety of styles to choose from I'll have to have some of each.

Well, it's time I stopped chattering. Thanks for your blessed talent. Thanks to Janet for discovering you and letting us in to enjoy your work also. Blessings on you and hope your Mom is better. Kathie Brechbuhler

  5. I'm listening to the The Story podcast now and looked you up on Google to see your art for myself. It is so filled with happiness and love, the Surreal Sea reminds of a sky I once looked out upon. There was a certain loneliness at the time, but more so a beauty and a closeness to God that will never leave me. I hope you continue to use your talents, your work is inspiring, full of life. Thank you for sharing your gifts. Thanks Janet for following your heart and bringing Ray's art to the people.
